lake beach day.

T and I have really been wanting to check out the beaches here. There are a lot of them along the lake trail and they always look so fun! We went with some friends that own a dog (we hope to be dog owners soon in the next couple weeks!) to the Montrose Dog Beach. It was Disneyland for dogs. As soon as the dogs are let off their leashes they make a dash for the lake! It is so cute to watch! 

The beaches here in Chicago are different from your regular ocean beaches. There are no waves and the sand is a little hard. But it's a beach! And the lake looks like an ocean because you cannot see any land on the other side. It's the biggest lake ever. We had a great time and I can't wait to go back!
