baked french fries.

I am dreaming about the next time I can make these french fries. Can you have french fries with pasta alfredo? Hmm....

If you have never made french fries (and are scared, like I was) MAKE THESE. They are foolproof and so so crunchy and delicious. And they are baked, so they are somewhat healthy?

You'll need:
-3 potatoes (washed, peeled, and cut into wedges)
-5 tablespoons light olive oil
-salt and pepper

Preheat the oven to 475.

Cover the potato wedges with hot water in a large mixing bowl. Let soak for 15 minutes.

Brush a large rimmed cookie sheet with 4 tablespoons of the olive oil. Sprinkle salt and pepper to evenly coat the cookie sheet. Set aside.

Drain and dry the potato wedges with paper towels. Return them to the bowl and coat them with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil.

Arrange them on the cookie sheet and cover tightly with tin foil. Bake for 5 minutes.

Remove the tin foil and bake for another 10 minutes. Remove from oven and flip each potato wedge over and cook for another 10 minutes or until desired crisp is met.

Eat them with a yummy hamburger!
