It's here. That white, slushy, crunchy, cold stuff. I always love the first snow. I love the way it covers the tree tops and it's branches. I love the sound it makes when I step through it in my boots. I love the way it makes me want to cuddle up with a blankie and some hot chocolate. Sure, the snow gets kind of annoying come mid-march. But for right now, I welcome it. Especially up at my parent's house in Huntsville. It looks gorgeous right now with the lake still un-frozen and the snow around it's banks.
And since I don't have a cast on this holiday season- that means it's ski season!!!
