On a walk the other night we ran into this community herb garden. I just thought it was so cute and I wanted to be a part of it!

I made a copycat version of Magnolia Bakery's Banana Pudding for the 4th. Oh my goodness. Probably the best dessert I have ever made and eaten in my life. Here is the link to the recipe. The only picture I have of it is my empty cup of leftovers from the morning of the 5th. I may or may not have had it for breakfast...

I grew up in Northern California where there are no fireflies. There were so many on our walk the other night and it made me so happy! I think they are so beautiful. I really do love the Midwest.
