I have come to absolutely LOVE a street near my apartment. Dearborn Street (south loop side). It is the perfect combination of quaint and welcoming. There is a little tiny park in the middle with a small fountain and benches where people read and sip coffee and hot chocolate. I snapped this picture today while walking to the train. I love all the leaves on the ground.
