I have always loved Valentine's Day. Even when I didn't have anyone to share it with, I still loved the whole idea of it. Sure, it's commercial, but who doesn't like having a day devoted to love and hearts and candy and flowers? It's the best. And it's been even better being able to celebrate it with T.
This year we decided to get take out from a restaurant and eat it at home like we did last year. Best idea ever. No waiting an hour for a table and you still get the same great food! T made an amazing fort out of blankets and sheets in our family room. It was so cozy! We ate our candy desserts and drank our mini martinell's in the fort while watching Cary Grant's "An Affair to Remember". Such a classic chick flick.
I am so lucky to have a guy that realizes that this holiday is important to me and goes all out.
And as a side note: I kinda love Blake Griffin who plays for the LA Clippers (so attractive). Todd is fine with it because it gets me to watch basketball. Todd got me little boys jersey Clippers pajamas with Griffin on the back. Haha I was laughing so hard when I opened them. So creative and thoughtful.
